- Abstract
- The researcher studied 'How can the course 'Women in Ministry' (to be taught at Gbarnga School of Theology) might help increase women's enrollment in seminary and empower them for leadership in the Liberia Annual Conference, United Methodist Church'? She used qualitative triangulation data to develop and test the course 'Women in Ministry'. Although women represented over 50% of the church's membership, findings revealed cultural/traditional socialization and lack of finances impeded their advancement. The pilot stimulated awareness, transformed participants' perceptions and aptitude. It created a network of lay and clergy to support women's increased enrollment in seminary for leadership.
