  • The thesis of this ministry project is that lay leaders in Brown Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church may be equipped and empowered to become effective spiritual leaders in the church. Most local lay leaders do not consider themselves spiritual leaders. Through seven ninety-minute training sessions, selected lay leaders were taught seven key characteristics of effective spiritual leaders and how these traits can be used to help make godly decisions, confront conflict or problems, and how to be effective in leading the people of God on to God's agenda.
