Abstract
  • The relational life and ministry of a congregation are connected in such a way that a shared image of and vision for their believers fellowship is critical. In an ethnographic exploration of the congregation's own community and community modeled by other intentional fellowships the congregation discerns familial images and models for community which could be chosen to describe and direct their life together. Methods used combine the historical, quantitative, and pro-active approaches. A statement of affirmation and intent is crafted as a tenable and transformational image and pattern for future fellowship and ministry together as the family of God.
