Abstract
  • This paper establishes the basis for and offers a comprehensive, five-year program of continuing education for air force chaplains. The basis is the institutional needs of the air force and the research-identified needs and interests of chaplains. These needs are correlated with the applicable principles of holistic growth. The combined implications become the ingredients of the program. The resulting five-year design was evaluated by fifty-eight chaplains. They concluded the program was effectively responsive to their needs and interests. With minor modifications the program is proposed as an effective design for air force chaplain continuing education.
