Abstract
  • This ministry praxis employed personality type theory to explore its relationship with preaching. The praxis director posited that an understanding of the DiSC Model of Human Behavior will increase a preacher's ability to effectively communicate a sermon. The project included a weekend retreat, the implementation of a lay ministry preaching team, a four-week sermon series, and a test group evaluation. The director concluded that the utilization of the DiSC Model of Human Behavior increases the preacher's ability to effectively communicate a sermon.
