Abstract
  • The research project's purpose was to validate that reflecting on, writing and telling one's life story contributes to individual spiritual formation and corporate spiritual formation in order to confirm the values held by the Department of Spiritual Formation and Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary. The research focused on the students who used the LIfe Story tool in the spiritual formation program. The results of an evaluative pre and post-survey, administered in January and September 2008 with a total of 175 students (68 female, 107 male) validated the value of Life Story contributing to individual and corporate spiritual formation.
