  • The project research evaluates four areas of the black church and its culture: 1. the black church, historical roots, present and future, African roots, the middle passage, the American experience South and North and the paradox of the 80's; 2. leadership under God, pastor, congregation, officers, youth and auxiliaries; 3. music, the role, type, and need of the congregation; 4. a particular part of the kingdom, interviews relating growth process and kingdom at present, but not fully recognized. Concluding recommendations are: strong leadership, good black music, and black worship experience.
