- Abstract
- The case study was conducted to help answer the question of how mission field leaders can effectively lead their teams through significant change in ministry strategy and organizational culture, given the special challenges of this organizational setting. Details of the cases were examined thoroughly, using document analysis methodology known as 'Constant Comparison' to demonstrate major themes in the change experience. The change experience of this staff was assessed using a survey tool, and then reviewed from the point of view of the theology and literature outlined in the paper. The results of the study are nine valid outcomes regarding the application of change management principles in the context of the staff studied. The outcomes provide helpful tools for further change processes in this, and similar, ministry settings.
