Abstrakt

This project is a two-day seminar designed to teach preaching to Adventist pastors in the Philippines. The author researched the big idea process and taught the skill through lecture and dialogue. This seminar helped students increase their skill in sermon development. The primary skill taught and practiced centered on the discovery and development of the big idea of a Bible passage. After reviewing the necessary study skills pastors were guided through the process of finding the subject and complement of a text and developing that into a big idea.
