Abstract
  • This project proposes and develops a foundation for intergenerational family Bible study through a systemic approach--Families In Search of Him (FISH)--based on the Book of Acts. By ministering to whole families as systems, FISH helps them to develop communication skills, to pool and use resources as a system, to discuss and plan actions that will enhance and strengthen relationships, and to identify and work on issues together. Several components encourage unity and sharing among church members and family members: family meal, family fun, family Bible study, family time, family action, family covenant, family prayer, and family benediction.
