Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to introduce Pentecostal pastors to the ministry of spiritual direction so that they may integrate spiritual direction into their own ministry. The project consisted of conception, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. A major emphasis of the project involved developing a theology and theory of spiritual direction that would communicate to Pentecostal pastors. This was presented in a seminar to a select group of Assemblies of God ministers from the San Francisco Bay Area from January to April of 2001. Participants gained knowledge, developed skills, and engaged in practice in providing spiritual direction.
