Abstract
  • Using narrative inquiry as the methodology, the researcher interviews several professionally trained Canadian Christian social justice ministers to find what was spiritually formative for their long-term vocational commitment to social justice ministry. The research findings describe the types of contexts, people, relationships, experiences and activities that were significant. In reflecting on the research findings, the author suggests that there is an implicit spiritually formative curriculum in life that is formative for the ministry of social justice and which is important to consider in planning theological education and formation for justice ministry.
