- The author conducted a retreat to provide a safe place with safe people for adult children from dysfunctional families to find inspiration and information to commence or continue the process of making peace with their past. The author conducted research using traditional methods, visits with other retreat leaders, and led a local group of adult children in preparation for the retreat. Most of the forty-five people attending enjoyed a life-changing experience.
