Abstract
  • How do established churches experience an atmosphere of renewal that will lead them away from declining and plateaued realities? A case study of ten established mid-sized churches that have walked the road to renewal served as the framework for the research. Data from pastoral interviews and lay leadership surveys were the means by which the case studies are analyzed. Although there are multi-faceted elements to renewal, the atmosphere of renewal begins and ends with living a biblical mission.
