- Abstract
- This project explores the use of collaborative homiletic with biblical texts of lament. After first exploring the loss of lament and the resulting consequences, the project proposes a homiletic of story weaving, as a relational, collaborative, organic method. This collaborative methodology is then utilized in the preparation of three sermons on biblical texts of lament. This project suggests the power of collaborative homiletics and calls for preachers to reclaim the use of biblical texts of lament in public worship.
