Abstract
  • The personal growth of men preparing for ordination to the priesthood contributes to their priestly formation. This project report describes a workshop which utilized research drawn from documents of the American Bishops' Committee on Priestly Life, the theology of Karl Rahner, and the developmental psychology of Erik Erikson. The workshop, given on three occasions, enabled seminarians to examine their issues of personal growth within the broader perspectives of theology and psychology. It helped them set practical goals to reinforce their effort to continue the process of integration begun at the workshop.
