Abstract
  • This project involves the development of a training tool that equips church members to develop disciples based on Galatians 2:20. The training tool is called 'TELL' which stand for 'teaching exchanged-life living'. TELL is unique in that (1) it utilizes the Law (Ten Commandments) in showing non-Christians their need for a savior; (2) it utilizes tests for true salvation from the book of 1 John to help people discern if their profession of Christianity is real; and (3) it emphasizes our identity in Christ in discipleship before emphasizing spiritual disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer, and witnessing. This project was developed and tested at the First Baptist Church of Powell, Tennessee.
