Abstract
  • A six-hour workshop was developed to provide the necessary training for a selected group of instructors with Contextualized Leadership Development (CLD). Pre-skill evaluations were administered to these instructors to determine their knowledge of teaching strategies and their teaching skills. Based on this data, the workshop was designed to increase their competence as instructors. Approximately four weeks after the workshop the project director visited the instructors to observe them teaching their CLD classes. All of the project participants were evaluated to determine their knowledge, values and skills relative to training adults. The completed project provides the foundation for a training workshop to be conducted in CLD centers located though out the western United States.
