Abstract
  • This project examines and explores possibilities for cooperation between communities and local churches in treatment and rehabilitation of victims of substance abuse. In its first phase the project enables a congregation to establish a recovery group home for substance abusers with government assistance. In its second phase the project develops a study guide to encourage biblical and spiritual growth among substance abusers. In its third phase the project surveys local religious leaders in an effort to establish a comprehensive relationship between churches and a local treatment center for substance abusers.
