This project integrates theology and the ministry of pastoral care in the development of a short-term therapeutic approach to guilt resolution, utilizing the basic principles of integrity therapy and the 'twelve steps' of Alcoholics Anonymous as a therapeutic model. Particular attention was given to the use of confession, absolution and reparation as the principal means of resolving guilt in the lives of individual church members. The report outlines the different methods of confession, demonstrating their comparative value in terms of guilt resolution. The project showed positive results in all areas of special consideration.
