- The purpose of this project was to equip selected women at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Gordonville, Florida, with small group leadership skills. The project director developed a training workshop using research and input from experts in small group leadership. She also attended two workshops: Leadership and Effective Small Group Training and Curricula Design and Development. The project director performed three phases in this project. In the first phase, the project director researched resources that specifically targed small group leadership skills and compiled an annotated bibliography. The second phase involved the development of an eight-week workshop curriculum. The third phase consisted of equipping selected women of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
