- The researcher sought to determine if teenagers of the First Baptist Church of Turlock, California, would make a commitment to abstinence from sexual intercourse and other intimate sexual behaviors as a result of participation in a seminar composed of material from Teen-Aid, Inc, and material developed by the researcher. Measurement was gained from analysis of scores from identical pretest and posttest questionnaires. The project realized change in an increased knowledge of human sexuality and an understanding of sexuality in the context of creation. The project seminars were successful in helping participants desire to set limits on sexually oriented behaviors and willingness to express support for abstinence among peers.
