- Abstract
- This project was the development and evaluation of a toolkit to be used as a resource for clergy responding to church member couples who are experiencing marital relationship distress. Using a 5 level-Likert scale questionnaire, the toolkit was evaluated by clergy, pastoral counselors, and lay church members. The toolkit was evaluated for potential usefulness, current helping models of practice, comprehensiveness, conciseness, accessibility, and potential for favorable outcomes. Quantitative data was analyzed using predictive analytics software and qualitative questionnaire data analyzed using a conceptually clustered matrix. Findings indicated strong support for the toolkit.
