Abstract
  • Church planting strategies need to be evaluated. A strategy being used in a Muslim country was put to a historical, theological, and missiological test. During this evaluation process it was recognized that a biblical, theological base to shape the approach was not laid. Consequently the strategy was not resulting in glory being brought to God, and also missionaries were not working harmoniously. Failure to agree theologically about mission results in failure to agree methodologically. Data is presented to help construct a clear theological statement of mission, various missiological approaches are reflected upon, and amendment recommendations are made.
