Abstract
  • This project proposes to increase denominational awareness among selected Southern Baptist university students by training them in Baptist emphases and polity. The project enlists 16 students for nine one-hour training sessions and a tenth session for evaluation. These students examined Baptist concepts of soul competency, believers' church, clebration of ordinances, perseverance of the saints, priesthood of believers, autonomy of the local church, and cooperative effort. Evaluation includes a post-test, classroom assessment, and a personal evaluation instrument.
