Abstract
  • Chinese culture factor, often subtle and twisted, complicate the conflict resolution skills normally employed effectively in Western churches, rendering them ineffective in North American Chinese churches. The main thrust and purpose of this project is through analyzing actual events by employing the four D's framework, namely difference, disagreement, disappointment and distrust, in the backdrop of Chinese culture, to extract practical biblical lessons so as to avoid the conflicts at the source. Through this work the author hopes to educate vocational ministers and lay leaders how to utilize wisely and constructively their differences and disagreement to build a healthy church.
