Abstract
  • For the Christian churches to be of any help to Taiwanese society it is necessary for them to follow Jesus Christ who is the 'Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.' The ethical culture of the church must be improved and uplifted in order to become the witness of the gospel in today's age. Therefore, the emphasis upon ethical culture and the practice of a faithful witness are closely related. This dissertation represents an effort which try to viable ethical culture of the church in Taiwan in two dimensions: first, there is a reflection on both the content of the Christian faith and the witness in real life; secondly, to explore the possibility of a working model for teaching ministry in which the ethical culture of the whole church could be awakened.
