Abstract
  • This research project evolved from the question: How can missionaries strategically help in meeting the critical need for more churches and more pastors in Eastern Europe? This study sought to develop and test a model to train church planters in Eastern Europe. This model was built around the multiplication mechanism found in 2 Timothy 2:2. A biblical study of church planting was done to establish a basis for the model and provide materials for teaching a church planting course. This study confirmed that leadership development and church planting are strategic ministries in meeting the spiritual needs of Eastern Europe.
