Abstract
  • This project was designed to address the need of a socialization process for children at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Elkhart, Indiana. Twenty-six sessions of preaching and classroom instructions enabled the children to develop the foundation of spiritual competency and practical skill level development to be utilized in society. The results of the model were implemented with a qualitative analysis method. Our results showed the children's scriptural competency grew and life skills received provided the confidence necessary for the transition into mainstream society.
