Abstract
  • Using the interview and library research methods, a comprehensive view of the unchurched/churched dynamic is presented. The spectrum of socialization, accommodation and cognitive theories of affiliation are addressed. Sources of church growth and decline are noted along with materials toward a practice of New Testament evangelism. Interview materials are included from both primary and secondary efforts. An evangelistic postscript indicates twenty positive steps toward a more intentional ministry among the unchurched.
