Abstract
  • The purpose of the project is to develop a course of study which deals with the doctrine of the Holy Spirit from an historical perspective so that Christians with different views of the work of the Spirit can come to know, understand and accept each other. This course of thirteen sessions is taught as a part of the church school curriculum of the Miller United Methodist Church, a middle-sized church, located in Johnstown, Ohio. Course participants and project associates participate in evaluation after each class session as well as in a concluding comprehensive evaluation which indicates that the purpose of the project is achieved.
