Abstract
  • The question of who takes care of the people of the church has been an issue in Presbyterian congregations for many years. This report seeks to explore how prayer and pastoral care can be revitalized for lay leaders in order for them to be more skilled and comfortable in their roles. The research used a survey to gather the thoughts and opinions of lay leaders. The research concluded lay leaders are caring for each other but not on very personal items and very few have received further training since becoming a lay leader.
