  • Can members of theologically liberal churches articulate who Jesus is for them? Can they then develop a means to share their faith with first-time visitors to Sunday morning worship? The author designed and led three different activities in which the arts were used as a vehicle for theological reflection. Through this process members were able to articulate their faith. Having successfully articulated their faith the author then led members through a process in which they designed and created a welcome bag. The bag contained objects that symbolized the faith articulated in the first part of this project. The bags are given to visitors at Sunday worship.
