- This project tests the feasibility of integrating ministries to elderly, homebound persons with video productions cablecast locally over The Faith Channel. A small-group support ministry combined with targeted video programs provides the framework for an eight-week trial in a nursing home. Interviews with participants before and after the experiment indicate that the combination of personal contact with televised messages is effective in meeting spiritual needs of homebound elderly persons, but many people who might benefit do not have access to the local cable system.
