Abstract
  • The prophetic message of the Old Testament about land tenure in ancient Israel and Judah can clarify for the church the issue of land tenure in El Salvador today and can deepen the church's understanding of the conflict there and help it in its mission strategies. Through a review of available literature, the author sought answers to the questions, Why does land concentrate in the hands of a few people, and, What do God's prophets say about this concentration? the general conclusion is that the church often neglects the resources of the scriptures when dealing with controversial issues.
