Abstract
  • Having served as a pastor in both non-conflictual and conflictual churches the author believes the ministry of the church must be one of reconciliation. Where two or more are gathered together as the Body of Christ there are differing opinions and the potential for conflict. The author researched the biblical, theological and spiritual perspectives of the process and ministry of reconciliation. The research culminated in a study of reconciliation with members of a non-conflictual church. The result of the study was two-fold. The participants acquired a detailed definition and understanding of the process of reconciliation from a personal perspective as well as within the church. In addition, a ministry of reconciliation is now the focus of ministry in that church.
