Abstract
  • The project is to impact First Baptist Church of Plymouth, Michigan to experience a shared community. There were three methods employed to raise the spiritual consciousness and experiential level: i) teaching ii) training and iii) praxis. Two surveys and a final evaluation helped determine the congregation's experience and the impact of the project. Results show that the project was well received; positive impact was felt on being a Christ-centered, caring and understanding the triune community. Negative experience was felt on being a compassionate community. The challenge continues as the church seems to be insulated and isolated from each other and the community.
