  • This study responds to a question that cohabitating couples generally ponder: should I be married or stay single? To better understand attitudes about cohabitation, selected young adults were invited into a dialogue. Storytelling, brief counseling, biblical topics, and social interaction were coordinated to encourage group participation and self-learning. At the conclusion of the study, cohabitating couples revealed their decisions to marry or not to marry. Conclusively, the foundational thesis question for this project is: What kind of dialogue can be developed to help impact cohabitating couples to make well informed social, economic, and moral decisions about their future, whether it involves marriage or not?
