Abstract
  • This project is a homiletical aid to the Book of I Kings. It is designed to serve as a model for the production of indigenous literature and to help the catechists in the Ubangi Region of Zaire proclaim its message in their local parishes. Under the direction of a national committee, the sermons of the denomination's greatest preachers are transcribed from tape recordings and produced in a two-hundred page book, complete with homiletical suggestions and sermon outlines. With minimal missionary contribution, this publication encourages the local church in its task of contextualizing theology.
