Abstract
  • The thesis tested by this project asserts that Christian maturity can be fostered in congregations when the pastor employs the pastoral conversation along with a program of systematic pastoral visitation. The method employed in this study consists of listening to faith stories, discussing questions regarding the parishioner's spirituality, providing guidance, and making numerous observations and measurements during the visits. Christian maturity, both individual and corporate, is advanced significantly by this means.
