Abstract
  • This project encourages growth in awareness of the power of God through prayer for individual and corporate life among members of Valley View Methodist Church (Clinton, Tenn). The project enlists members in six 'vision team' meetings in which they study prayer, plan for prayer (from designing a prayer chapel to use of computer technology), and practice prayer. Two series of sermons on prayer for the entire congregation supplement these meetings. These efforts renew spiritual life within the congregation.
