Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to strengthen the kin-life of the First Baptist Church. Kin-life is that quality of relationships within a group that is characterized by commonality, unity, harmony, and a shared interest in the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of others. The project trained thirteen individuals called ministry leaders to strengthen kin-life in adult Sunday School classes. At the conclusion of the project a series of five evaluative instruments indicated the following: 1) that increased kin-life developed in the participating classes, and 2) that the project director displayed competency in the design and implementation of the project.
