Abstract
  • 'Worship: Key to Renewal' develops the thesis that worship is the central act of the church, and that, therefore, worship is central to church renewal. Research is based on the formulation of a theology of the church, a theology of worship, and practical surveys of church life by interviewing former parishioners and visiting other congregations for worship. The study leads to the conclusion that churches can find renewal of congregational life and worship. Vital worship is found by acknowledging the centrality of worship, developing a clear theology, and ordering services based on that theological statement.
