- Abstract
- The purpose of this ministry research project was to change the inward focus of the Burgin Baptist Church of Burgin, Kentukcy, to an outward focus. A three-phased program, including a renewed prayer emphasis and a motivational sermon series, and culminating with a comprehensive program of outreach, was designed to achieve the desired attitudinal shift. Biblical study indicated that God's focus has always been, and continues to be, outward. God wants to use a chosen people to draw all people unto Himself. It was determined that the leader plays a vital role in capturing, disseminating and seeing the vision to fruition.
