- Abstract
- The purpose of the study is to evaluate the problems and hindrances of adopting the practice of intercessory prayer for missions by short-term mission participants of the Hong Kong Evangelical Church (Hong Kong, China). Proposed strategies were recommended. Personal interviews were employed. The findings of the study showed that, in various degrees, all the participants of short-term missions continued to intercede for missions. Strategies recommended included short-term mission participation, the provision of up-to-date and detailed information for intercession, promotion of the practice of intercession for missions in churches, and praying on all occasions.
