- Abstract
- In response to a growing concern about the need for intergenerational leadership between English Ministries and Korean Ministries within Korean Protestant immigrant churches, an all-church retreat was developed and implemented to promote intergenerational leadership at Green Korean United Methodist Church in Milpitas, California. The theme of the retreat was based on the biblical leadership of Moses and Joshua. The author conducted surveys before and after the retreat among thirty Korean Americans. The results show that the participants gained a better understanding of intergenerational leadership and began to recognize English Ministry leaders as leaders within the entire congregation.
