- Abstract
- This project proposes homiletical training as a method of preparing men for leadership in local congregations, testing it in three different congregations over a ten-year period. In attempting to implement a first-century 'priesthood of all believers' through men's leadership training classes, the project discovers six overarching elements that facilitate leadership development: confidence, knowledge and skills, spiritual growth, group dynamics, information and participation, and encouragement.
