- The purpose of the project is to develop and teach baptism by immersion in Covenant Korean Baptist Church, Ellicott City, Maryland. The contents of the project deal with the significance of baptism by immersion in Korean-American church context in America. The major issue is based on the biblical meaning and practice of baptism by immersion. Chapter one gives general information about the content of Covenant Korean Baptist Church, Ellicott City, Maryland. Chapter two deals with the biblical and theological backgrounds of baptism by immersion. Chapter three describes the significance of the biblical teaching of baptism by immersion and the practice of it in the models of Korean-American churches in America. The last two chapters deal with the application of teaching and the evaluation of the result.
