Abstract
  • This dissertation motivates and guides Christians to grow closer to God and move away from their pasts. The stand taken in this paper is clear and radical. All ties to the world are are cut. If any remain they are redefined by a new criterion set by their new Father. Worn-out cliches have significance only when defined by our adoption by God. In step one, the Christian life is defined and applied. Step two deals with specific problems indigenous to modern American Christianity. The work has been read by professionals in theology, counseling, ministry and publishing.
