Abstract
  • This project proposes that intentional faith reflection by volunteers in the context of a small group can stimulate and strengthen spiritual emergence of individual volunteers. Based on oral interviews and written questionnaires, the research compares the spiritual experiences and perceptions of volunteers who have and have not participated in faith reflection. The research reveals that faith reflection provides a valuable vehicle for volunteers to process deep questions of faith as they seek transformation through spiritual emergence.
